These have a direct influence on the way the new Range Sport looks and feels. The all-new Range Sport is 45kg lighter than the new Range Rover. The all-new Range Sport is also 62mm longer than its predecessor. At 4850mm, it is shorter than most 7-seater SUVs and saloons. This gives it greater manoeuvrability and makes it easier to park.

Front appeal

Bold design
The dynamic new Range Sport has a bold and progressive exterior design. At the front are large outboard air intakes and bold trapezoidal shapes housing the central bumper beams. The Range Rover’s new design cues include the signature clamshell bonnet, floating roof and side fender vents. The SUV incorporates new versions of the powerful wheel arch graphic and horizontal body feature lines, which are visible on the outgoing model.
Heavily influenced by the Range Rover
The front end has a more modern, streamlined appearance, with its slimmer lights, rearward sloping grille and more sculpted corners. At the rear, the lamps have a more compact treatment with a striking new design that uses LED technology. The main tail and stop lamps echo the headlamps' distinctive design language. A stunning range of factory fitted alloy wheels from 19- to 22-inches are available for the first time across all Range Rover models.

Now a seven seater
For the first time ever the engine is fitted with a stop start system. The soundtrack from the engine has also been tuned to offer a richer tone. All petrol and diesel engines in the new Range Sport are paired with the advanced electronically controlled ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic gearbox.
