The most important super car list is out. As expected there has been a slight change in the list but some of the old contenders have still stuck to the list. To be on this list, super cars have to accomplish a couple of requirements. One is an amazing top speed had that to have been verified. Mare speculations on paper were not allowed. Number two, they were expected to be production cars and not concepts and three; they had to be the most aggressive and meanest cars on the planet. It’s now my pleasure to introduce you to the 11 most powerful production cars on the planet.

Number 11 on the list is an amazing car from Jaguar. Launched back in 1992 the $650,000 (Kshs. 56 million) machine can accelerate to a top speed of 350km/h. It had a V6 that produced 524hp and could accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Although she is an old girl now, the XJ220 has got what it takes to be one of the fastest cars on the planet.

Also in number 11 is the rear Zonda Cinque Roadster. This carbon fibre beauty can do 350km/h thanks to a twin turbocharged AMG V12 engine that give out an amazing 678hp.

Although one had to pay a whopping $1,850,000 (Kshs. 158 million) this baby is guaranteed to satisfy any driver on the wheel.

Next to the Cinque on the number 11 podium is the most dynamic car Ferrari has ever made. When it came out back in 2002 it was one of the most exclusive Ferrari one could ever own.

Number 10 on the list is the rare Ascari A10. It first saw light in 2007. This British sports car can accelerate from 0-to 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds. Its BMW engine has 625hp and one would need to pay $650,000 (Kshs. 55 million) to own this amazing car. Top speed is at pegged at 354km/h.

Next on the list is another classic from Britain. It’s described as the most astonishing Aston Martin ever made. Only 77 were made. As a result it was named the Aston One-77.

Moving on to Number 8 we meet one of the newest supercars in the planet. Before I hear complain about racing heritage and history let me give you it’s incredible performance figures.

Number 4 podium goes to the Bugatti Veyron. Its 1001hp W16 engine would accelerate it from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

Although one might say it looks like a Lotus Elise, which is the car it’s based on, this car has the power that can make other sports car crumble in pieces at the sight of it zooming past.
