2013 Mazda CX5

As previously reported, Mazda has laid a new compact SUV CX-5 in Austria, this impressive record start. One secret of success is his rookie Nippon variety. Customers are free to combine: front-or all-wheel drive, different engines, six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, etc. - a total of 21 different versions to choose from. Previously there was one major drawback: The SUV was in the first few weeks that is only available as gasoline. But that is now over, for now (late April) to start the diesel models.

Overview
Since we have the CX-5 on several occasions presented extensively, follows here only a summary of the main features. The car combines Mazda's first fuel-saving "Skyactive" technology (start-stop, lightweight, new transmission, etc.) with the new "Kodo" design. Two diesel versions and a gasoline engine form the drive program.

The base model diesel delivers 150 hp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. The top version creates 175 hp and 420 Nm. Both already meet the limits of the Euro 6 standard. The 150-horsepower diesel version with front-wheel drive and manual transmission boasts an average fuel consumption of 4.6 liters. The CO2 emissions are 119 grams per kilometer. A 8.8-second sprint from zero to one hundred and 207 km / h with the 175-horsepower diesel inside. The 150-horsepower diesel is only 9.2 seconds and 202 km / h is slightly slower.

The 2.0-liter gasoline engine develops Skyactiv with front-wheel drive 165 hp, 160 hp wheel-drive. The consumption of the base model is on average 6.0 liters (139 g CO2/km). 208 km / h 9.2 seconds and top are from zero to hero in the data sheet.
