Chrome visible everywhere |
SHINNY EXTERIOR
Compared to its 2008 older relative the new Dualis has undergone numerous changes both in design and practicality. Although the front grill has not changed much, the designers gave it a little touch of chrome to give it an overall luxury feel.
Restyled rear |
The headlights have also been restyled and now feature powerful Xenon lamps that provide a powerful beam at night. Below the chrome grill is the air intake with an integrated front lip that acts as the air splitter. There are also chrome touches on the door handles, side panels, roof rails and boot handle.
Huge 18 inch wheels |
The rear-light have been restyled while the exhaust tip has also not been left out in the ‘chrominization’ of the Dualis. To entice rappers in America (just kidding), the Dualis now has huge 18 inch aluminium-alloy wheels. Lastly there is a huge rear spoiler that helps improve air flow around the car.

POWER PLANT
The Dualis comes with a new 2.5 litre 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine. It churns out 170 hp and has a top speed of 200km/h. connected to this engine is Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission system. It has been specially tuned to offer smooth gear changes and quick acceleration. The engine has a fuel consumption of 5 litres per 100km covered.
Intergrated rear spoiler |
Power to the four wheels is managed by a new All-Wheel Drive system.
Compared to the previous system power distribution system, the new one has been integrated with Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) (This keeps the vehicle stable during cornering) with Traction Control System (TCS) (This controls power to the each wheels reducing wheel spin in muddy surfaces).
Side view |
Each Dualis comes fitted with standard power-assisted front and rear vented disc brakes with standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). All Dualis models come with cruise control as standard.
Large boot |
PRACTICAL INTERIOR
The Dualis large size is more visible in the interior. This is thanks to the generous leg and headroom both in the front and the back. It has enough room for five occupants and a large boot for storage. The rear seats can also be folded to boost the boot space even further. The front seats can be adjusted electronically and are also heated. The front passenger seat can also be electronically folded, for storage of extra-long items like a ladder or wood.

There are numerous storage spaces such as the extra-large glove compartment, removable trays under the boot and a variety of cup holders, a pen holder, a coin holder and cell phone/sunglass holders. A powerful 7 speaker Bose audio system connected to a huge Richbass subwoofer will keep occupant entertained. The subwoofer comes with its independent amplifier that the driver can use to lower or increase the subwoofer output.

The infotainment screen also acts as the screen to the reverse camera. It also connects to phones via Bluetooth and can play music from the phone. One can also connect a flash drive, iPod/iPhone via the USB/AUX input located in the extra-large glove box.
