Toyota Hilux Double Cabin
If one were to write about the Toyota Hilux words like quality, durability and reliability will never miss in a sentence. It has been the most sought after work horse for transportation of goods all over the world.
Available with and automatic transmission system
In Kenya the Hilux continues to be the ultimate king in the pick-up segment. It popularity is greatly felt by the men and women in the miraa trade.
Double Cabin version remains as tough as ever
Well am glad to inform you that that a facelift model has been launched with more power, reliable engine (see I just had to say it) and an all new restyled interior.
Tough and rigid on and off road
EXTERIOR FEATURES
It now has a new bonnet, radiator grille, headlamps and front bumper. The designers also enhanced the vehicle overall characteristic. It now has huge wheel arches, redesigned 15" and 17" steel and alloy wheels and new restyled side mirrors with indicators.
Refined front cockpit
At the back, the rear lights have been restyled with amazing results. The break light and indicator lights have been separated by a small chrome strip. The traditional rear chrome bumper and side steps have remained unchanged.

Name stands tall with a history spanning over 40 years

The new Hilux is now available in four versions; DLX, the new DLX+, SR and SR+.  The DLX+ is an all new version. It’s available, just like the other versions, as a Single Cab, Extra Cab or as a Double Cab. The DLX version is also available with the three body version however it lacks luxuries found in the DLX+ version.

The DLX+ and DLX version are also available as 2WD or 4WD. The miraa favourite SR+ and SR versions come with the same body options found in there large DLX sisters. There are also available in 2WD or 4WD just like the DLX versions.

Miraa traders will be happy to know that there favorite 2WD versions are even more powerful. The 2WD version now has an all new 2.5 litre D-4D engine which has 144 hp.
A lot of options to choose from
That is 24 hp more than the previous model thanks to a new variable nozzle turbo charging system. The engine is matted to a 5 speed manual transmission system. The good news doesn’t end there; the pick-up now has a more robust chassis found in the 4WD version, leading to an improved ground clearance. It can now carry 2.5 tonnes of miraa at the back.
Chromed sided mirrors with integrated indicators
For lovers of the 4WD versions like me, there is an option of either having the 2.5 D-4D engine found in the 2WD version or a 3.0 litre D-4D engine which has 160 hp. The engine is married to a 5 speed manual transmission system.  Automatic transmition is available in the DLX+ and SR+ versions only.
