LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR

10:31

As Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann drove the car on to the stage I could not believe my eyes. The car is a beauty to behold and by far the best Lamborghini the 50 year old Sant' Agata Bolognese based car company have ever produced.
Lamborghini Aventador
According to its tradition, Lamborghini's new flagship model must bear the name of a bull. For this particular model they chose Aventador, the name of a fighter bull that earned the highest respect for it courage, brutality and strength, elements that they new Lamborghini seems to possess.
Aggressive front look
To start with Lamborghini engineers came up with an all new V12 heart for the bull. It coughs out a whooping 700 bhp without the need of a turbo or a supercharger. The engine takes the bull from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds flat! The bull will rage on to a whooping top speed of 350km/h.
Naturally aspirated V12 heart
This is thanks to not only the engine but the use of carbon fibre which has brought it weight to a total of 1,575 kilograms. Hence total fuel consumption is lowered by 20% compared to the Murcielago. Connected to the heart is a seven speed gearbox that can function automatically or manually by use of paddle shifters at the steering wheel.
Polycarbonate rear glass
To ensure that the car sticks on the road, formula one tuned suspension, four wheel drive and a computer work hand in hand to ensure that the power from the engine is distributed well on to the four tires.
Classic Lamborghini doors
And the icing to the cake, I believe, ought to be the exhaust system. It could make a Vitz crumble to pieces just by the sight of it. Like a conductor for a musical piece from the twelve cylinders on the engine, the exhaust ensures that there is a high charging roar at higher speeds and a low gentle purr at low speeds.
Massive rear vents
Every line, every detail of the super sports car from Sant’ Agata is derived from its function namely speed, dynamics, performance. The surface of the roof has a new geometry that provides greater spaciousness for the passengers. The massive air intakes at the front together with the LED headlight give it an aggressive front look.
Rear lights and air vents inspired by the Reventon
At the side massive air vents channel cool air to the engine. The design chemistry ends at the rear with stylish rear LED lights, huge outlets that help channel hot air from the engine.
View from the top
There is also an electronically controlled rear spoiler that pops up at 100 km/h. At the bottom is the massive chrome ‘conductor’ in charge of the sound department.

Brutal and powerful just like the bull its named after
Like the Murcielago the doors open upward to reveal the interior. Thanks to it amazing design, the Lambo cockpit is more spacious and by far the best styled.
Comfortable seats
Step inside and you are greeted by the leather seats and leather covered steering wheel. Numerous cows ‘donated’ their leather to cover the bull’s dashboard, a pillar and the glove compartment.
Majestic side view
The cockpit comes with TFT-LCD, Navigation, iPod connection, Bluetooth and metal cover that the driver opens to reveal the starter button just like in a fighter jet.
Paddle Shifters located behind the multifunction steering wheel
Push the start button and the bull fires as the LED speed and rev dial greet you with excitement. The comfortable seats hold the driver in a perfect driving position. These plus many additions ensure that the driver is left only to do his job, ‘taming the bull.’
Air-force fighter inspired front cockpit
Owners will need to pay £ 202,000 or around Kshs 31 million (including taxes) to own this amazing piece of machinery. As for me a massive Aventador poster on my wall is all I need.
